COLLINS posted by Kathy Vaux on Saturday, January 12, 2002
I am seeking information on Thomas Collins, reportedly residing in Myrtle, Idaho in 1920. I have some information to indicate he may have lived in that area until his death. I am seeking information on his death date, and any other information I can find. His son, Frank W Collins lived in the Lewiston area, and died at the age of 30 years. Thomas lived beyond the death of his son.
MCCARTY, WALLACE posted by Connie Meyer on Monday, January 21, 2002
I have very little information on my paternal grandfather. His name was Chancy Wallace and he had THREE children. Virla, Albert and John. Since my parents divorced when I was young, all I have found out is that he died in Lewiston, Nez Perce Co, Idaho. This probably was around 1945, but, I am not at all sure of that. I, also, believe that he served in the Red Cross in a war. He was married to Christine McCarty. I, also, am TRYING TO TRACK THE MCCARTY HISTORY. But, I've had more success in that area. I am HOPING to track the ancestry of my father's side. Thank You, Connie Meyer
LUCHT, MIELKE posted by Delila Duffy on Monday, January 21, 2002
I have an ancestor whom I believe may have died in your county. I am told she is buried in a cemetery called 'Cameron Idaho Cemetery', Cameron, Idaho. This person's name is Eva Rosina Mielke (Lucht). She was supposed to have died on Nov. 15th, 1924. I would like a copy of her death certificate and also any contacts of other's researching this woman. She was my g-g-grandmother. I am hoping to somehow find out where in Prussia she and her husband Frederick originated from. She moved to Idaho after her husband's death with a son whom I also believe was named Frederick? Thank's a Million in advance Delila Duffy (Mielke)
