Lewiston Morning Tribune Friday, November 10, 1939 Pioneer Woman Is Victim Of Stroke Mrs. Mary Pratt, 68, wife of P. B. Pratt, died at her home last night at 7:30. She suffered a paralytic stoke several days ago. Mrs. Pratt was born Aug. 9, 1871, in Orfordville, Wis. The family came to Idaho in 1896, locating on a homestead 12 miles north of Nezperce. Since 1921 Mrs. Pratt has been a resident of Lewiston. Survivors include her husband, P. B. Pratt; four daughters, Mrs. Isabelle Glasby and Miss Ivy Pratt, both of Lewiston; Mrs. I. B. Allen, Clarkston, and Mrs. Dott Altenberg, Spokane; six grandchildren, Mrs. Paul Finn, Lapwai; Mrs. Al Peachey and Mrs. Joe Renner, both of Spokane; Mrs. Donald Plunkett, Carol Jean Allen and Harvey Allen, all of Clarkston. The body is at the Vassar-Rawls funeral home. Burial arrangements are pending. |
