DIRECTIONS: Located in northeast Nez Perce County, Idaho. From U.S. 12 take state highway 8 to Kendrick, from Kendrick take Cedar Ridge Rd. to bridge crossing Potlach Creek to Southwick Rd. approx. 8.5 miles to the town of Southwick and .2 mi. south on King Rd.

LOCATION: Town of Southwick, Section 32, T38N, R1W, Nez Perce County. Southwick named for the family of Southwick. It is part of Nez Perce County Cemetery Maintenance, Lenore District.

History of Pine Hill (aka Southwick) Cemetery

This is a copy of a legal notice published in a newspaper March 5, 1896. The descriptions were copied on an index card, but did not include the name of the newspaper.

Book 57, page 137, Nez Perce County

At Southwick: one lot extending 390 feet North and South, by 273 feet East and West, with the exception of a strip 27.3 feet x 30 feet on the North and one 390 feet by 30 feet on the East for a road.

Said lot about 2 acres, used and known as Pine Hill Cemetery lying in the North East corner on the NE1/4 of Sec. 32, Twp 38, NR1.
