Lewiston Morning Tribune Saturday, July 16, 1921 Dies Of Appendicitis. Louis Wright, Gifford, Succumbed Here Yesterday. Louis, the 16-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. William W. Wright, of Gifford, died at St. Joseph's hospital yesterday morning from appendicitis. The young man was stricken last week and brought to St. Joseph's for treatment one week ago yesterday. His case was serious from the start. The body was taken to Gifford yesterday afternoon by W. E. Stoddard, undertaker of Gifford, and burial will take place in the Gifford cemetery tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev. Wilhite officiating. The young man's parents are farmers at Gifford, and the deceased also was engaged in farming on his own account this year, having 80 acres of rented land under cultivation. He was well and popularly known throughout the section in which he resided. Besides the parents, two brothers and two sisters survive. |
