Lewiston Morning Tribune Thursday, Aug. 8, 1946 Woman Is Found Dead After Heart Attack Death came yesterday morning for Mrs. Tillie Williams, 49, until a few years ago a well known and popular waitress. She was found dead in her bed following a heart attack at her home at 514 "B" street. Born at Genesee, she came to Lewiston 32 years ago, and for many years was a waitress at the Bollinger Hotel café, later working at the Majestic café. She is survived by two brothers, Gilbert Kilde, Spokane, and Henry Kilde, Troy; and a sister, Mrs. George Volmer, Lewiston. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Friday afternoon from the Vassar Rawls chapel and burial will be in the Normal Hill cemetery. Her body was found about 3:30 yesterday morning by Jim McKay, who reported to police that he found her dead when he tried to awaken her to cook breakfast. Time of death was set at 2:30 by the coroner. |
