John Wilson Is A Suicide

Negro Slashed His Throat With Razor.

Grangeville, Sept. 21 (Special to the Tribune)

J. L. Zaner came out today from Moore's station, on the road to Buffalo Hump, and reports that John Wilson, a negro cook, who has been around this part of the country for some time, died at three o'clock last Friday morning from self inflicted wounds with a razor Thursday night. It appears that Wilson has been despondent of late and had recently states to a number of friends that he intended to take his life. He secured a razor Thursday night and slashed his throat in several places. When found he was weak from loss of blood, and although everything possible was done for him the wounds inflicted were of such a nature that he died early the following morning. The deceased was subject to delirium tremens. Mr. Zaner and Harrison Johnston brought the remains to the city last night.
