Lewiston Morning Tribune Wednesday, October 7, 1925 Mrs. Jesse S. Wilson Dead Former Lewiston Girl Victim of Heart Trouble at Culdesac. Mrs. Jesse S. Wilson, a well-known young matron of Culdesac and a former Lewiston girl, died yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Johnson, 434 17th street, quite suddenly from heart disease. Mrs. Wilson was taken ill with a slight paralytic stroke shortly after retiring at her home in Culdesac Monday evening. With a poor heart condition she grew worse and was brought to the home of her parents yesterday morning. Mrs. Wilson was born at Gifford, Illinois, Jan. 21, 1896, and came west with her parents when a young girl. She was baptized into the Christian church when 10 years of age and has been active in church work ever since. She attended high school and business college in Lewiston and was actively identified with the christian work among young people in the city. She was married June 14, 1916, and made her home in Lewiston most of the time since, residing in Culdesac the past two years. She is survived by her husband and three children, Verna, Phyllis and Mary Roberta. There also survives her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Johnson, and three brothers, Harold in Eugene, Oregon; and Frank and Clifford in California; and three sisters, Josephine at University of Idaho; Mrs. Ray Wilson and La Verna, Lewiston. The funeral arrangements have not been completed. |
