Lewiston Morning Tribune Sunday, September 7, 1930 Pioneer Resident Dies At Hospital Of Old Age Miss Rosella M. Willoughby, pioneer resident of eastern Washington and central Idaho, passed away at White's hospital yesterday morning of old age. Born in Wisconsin, October 4, 1848, Miss Willoughby came west with her brothers and about 25 years ago lived in the Tammany section, later making her home near Garfield, Wash. She returned to Lewiston August 27 and entered the hospital but declined steadily until death intervened. She leaves two brothers and four sisters, all living in Lewiston, these being P. B. Willoughby, F. K. Willoughby, Miss Allie Willoughby, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Bennett, Mrs. Mary Miller and Mrs. Myrtle W. Eastland, also a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Frederick H. Wheeler, of the Episcopal church, from the Vassar chapel at 4 o'clock this afternoon. The body will be laid at rest in Normal Hill cemetery. |
