Lewiston Morning Tribune Friday, January 23, 1953 Former Resident Dead At Everett Word reached here yesterday of the death of Mrs. Marguerity Harland Willoughby, former Lewiston resident, Tuesday at Everett, Wash. She was 86. Accompanied by her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Selden of Granite Falls, Wash., the body was en route to Lewiston yesterday for funeral services and burial. She was the widow of the late Frank K. Willoughby, who was a Lindsay Creek wheat farmer. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and came to Lewiston with Mr. Willoughby from Nebraska in 1908. Prior to his death in 1937, they made their home on 9th Avenue for many years. More than 10 years ago she moved to the home of her daughter at Granite Falls. She is also survived by a son, R. F. Willoughby of Santa Rosa, Calif. Mrs. Robert Somerville of Lewiston is a niece. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:30 at Vassar-Rawls chapel with the Rev. Paul Hovey officiating. Burial will be in the family plot at Normal Hill Cemetery. |
