Lewiston Morning Tribune Sunday, May 9, 1937 F. K. Willoughby Called By Death Frank K. Willoughby, 81, a resident of Lewiston since 1909, and formerly engaged in farming the Dent and Crites tracts on Lindsay creek, died yesterday morning at his home, 1113 Ninth avenue, after a lingering illness. Born in Richland county, Wis., Nov. 26, 1855, he moved with his parents to Boscobel, Wis., where he received most of his education. He taught in Wisconsin at the age of 17. In 1882 he located in Holt county, Neb., and taught in that state, where he married Marguerite Harlan June 22, 1886. After farming in Nebraska they came to Lewiston in 1909 and since resided here. Mr. Willoughby leaves a widow, Marguerite Willoughby; a son, Robert S. Willoughby, Lewiston, and a daughter, Mrs. Beryl Selden, Seattle; one brother, B. P. Willoughby, Lewiston, and a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Eastland, Vancouver, Wash.; also three grandchildren and nieces and nephews. The body is at the Vassar-Rawls funeral home. Funeral arrangements are pending. |
