Lewiston Morning Tribune Wednesday, August 25, 1937 Franklin J. Williard, 77, Is Called At Lewiston Franklin J. Williard, 77, a resident of Lewiston 39 years and among the early homesteaders on Craig mountain, died at 4:25 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. May Fodrea, 1319 Eleventh avenue, of complications. He was taken ill 10 days ago. Mr. Williard was engaged in the lumber business after he came here and later in the real esate business. He retired several years ago. Survivors include a widow, Artie M. Williard; two daughters, Mrs. May W. Fodrea and Mrs. Dexter Rich, both of Lewiston; a brother, Marvin Curtis Williard, Los Angeles, and four grandchildren, Genevieve Fodrea, Williard Fodrea, Donald Fodrea and Dexter Rich. Funeral services will be held from the Vassar-Rawls chapel tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. F. William Westwood officiating. Interment will be at Normal Hill cemetery. |
