Mrs. Artie Williard Died Yesterday, Boise

Mrs. Artie M. Williard, 83, pioneer resident of this community, died yesterday morning at Boise where for the last two years she had resided at the home of her daughter, Mrs. May Fodrea. Death was attributed to injuries received in a fall one week ago.

She was born July 28, 1861, in Wisconsin, where she married Frank J. Williard in 1884. The family came to Lewiston in 1898. Mr. Williard was among the early homesteaders in Craig mountain and for many years was engaged in the real estate business at Lewiston. He died in 1937. Mrs. Williard was a communicant of the Congregational church. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Fodrea and Mrs. Dexter Rich, Lewiston, both of whom were present when death came; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
