Lewiston Morning Tribune Sunday, December 5, 1937 Indian Youth Dead Willie Williams, 18, son of Mrs. Lizzie Lott, Indian, Lapwai, died yesterday morning at the Lapwai sanatorium of tuberculosis. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the Methodist church at Lapwai with interment at the tribal cemetery, with Brower-Wann in charge of arrangements.
Lewiston Morning Tribune Williams Laid To Rest At Lapwai Lapwai, Dec. 7 - Funeral services for Willie Williams, Lapwai, were held from the Methodist church yesterday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Stephen Reuben officiating, assisted by the Rev. Starr J. Maxwell and the Rev. Daniel Scott of Spalding. Honorary pallbearers were Roy White, Rupert Davis, Lester Penny, Daniel Kane, William Stevens, Jr., and Charley Jackson. Active pallbearers were James White, Titus White, Raleigh Ellenwood, Harrison Lott, Charles White and Levi McCormick. Interment was at the Grant family cemetery at Lapwai. Arrangements were in charge of the Brower-Wann company of Lewiston. |
