Former Lewistonian Is Drowned In Oregon

Word was received in Lewiston yesterday of the accidental drowning Sunday of Joe C. Wicks, in the Crooked river in the Deschutes region of Oregon. Details were lacking.

Mr. Wicks was well known here and in Clarkston. He was manager of one of the Skaggs stores in Lewiston and from here went to Pullman as manager. While there he was advanced to head supervisor of the Skaggs' interested in the Portland district, including all of Oregon and a part of Washington. At one time he was employed by the Idaho Ice & Coal company.
