Mr. Whitcomb's Funeral. - The funeral services for the late Charles Whitcomb, who was killed in an accident Saturday, will in all probability take place next Thursday. The exact hour and date of the funeral will be made known later, however Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nelson and Mrs. I. E. Zuver left Modesto, Cal., immediately upon receipt of news of Mr. Whitcomb's death. Mrs. Nelson is a sister to the deceased, and Mrs. Zuver a daughter.
