Lewiston Morning Tribune Friday, April 14, 1939 Mrs. A. C. Whisler Called By Death Mrs. Adelaide M. Whisler, 69, wife of A. C. Whisler, south Vineland, died at her home at 12:35 a.m. today after an illness of one and one-half years. A resident of this area for 37 years, Mrs. Whisler was well known and was active in community affairs. She was an affiliate of the Christian church and a member of the United Artisans. Mrs. Whisler was a native of New Hampshire. Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Mrs. H. H. Dimke, Clarkston; Miss Josephine Whisler, residing at home; Mrs. Fae Hillman, Seattle; Mrs. R. Ratckin, Hawaiian islands, and Mrs. Oscar Cooper, Spokane; her brother and her sister, E. D. Sennett, Clarkston, and Mrs. Josephine Guilford, Lewiston. The body is at Merchant's chapel. Funeral arrangements are pending. |
