Funeral of Mr. Wernitsch.

The funeral of the late August J. Wernitsch was conducted yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the Vassar chapel by the Rev. Hodshire, of the Clarkston Methodist church. There were many beautiful flowers and the pass-bearers were G. A. R. Veterans, of which order the deceased was a member.

Mr. Wernitsch passed away Sunday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. S. Martin, from complications incident to old age. He was about 81 years of age and was a pioneer resident of the Oaksdale country. He came to Lewiston for medical treatment several weeks ago.
