Lewiston Teller Lewiston, Idaho, February 6, 1890 Died. Died - In this city, Feb. 3, 1890, John Weisgerber, aged 46 years. John Weisgerber the subject of this notice has been a long resident of this city and highly respected by all who knew him, was ever ready to give a helping hand to public enterprise that would advance the interests of our town and the country at large. He has been ill for the past two years with that dreadful disease, cancer, and through all suffering he was patient to the last. He leaves a brother and many warm friends to mour his loss, and our community can say they have lost a valuable and energetic citizen. His funeral took place from the residence on Wednesday, under the auspices of the Lewiston Hook & Ladder Co. of which deceased has held the office of Treasurer since its organization. Peace to his ashes. Resolutions. Whereas, it has pleased Almighty God, our over ruling Father, to take away from our midst our highly esteemed and worthy associate, John Weisgerber, Charter Member and Treasurer of Lewiston Hook and Ladder Company No. 1, therefore be it resolved that by the loss of John Weisgerber the Company have sustained an irreparable loss and are deprived of one who was ever ready to answer to the call of duty, and be it further Resolved, that upon the removal of our efficient, ever worthy and highly esteemed associate, John Weisgerber, the Company deeply sympathize and extend to the family of the deceased their heartfelt condolence.
Resolved, that a copy of these resolutions be transmitted to the family of the deceased, a copy be presented to the Lewiston Teller
