The Grangeville Globe Grangeville, Idaho County, Idaho January 1, 1914 Deputy Webb's Father Dead. Deputy Sheriff Webb's father J. W. Webb, something like 75 years of age, died at his home in Reubens on Wednesday night of last week of heart trouble. The funeral was held on Saturday, the interrment (sic) being at the Gifford cemetery. Deputy Webb and family had started for Reubens on Thursday morning to spend Christmas with his parents, and was not aware of the father's death until they arrived at Reubens. Sheriff Eimers received the news at his office after Mr. Webb had taken the train. Deceased is survived by his wife and six children, all of whom excepting William, at this place, live in the Reubens and Gifford country. |
