Lewiston Morning Tribune Sat., Nov. 4, 1944 Pioneer Of Kendrick Area Taken By Death Kendrick, Nov. 3 - Mrs. Effie M. Ware, 71, wife of Newton M. Ware, died at her home here last night. She had been a resident of this area for the last 63 years, coming here with her parents when eight years old. Mrs. Ware was a communicant of the Christian church. She was born in Jackson county, Mo. Survivors are her husband, three daughters and two sons, Mrs. Zora Compton, Bayview; Mrs. Lola E. McPherson, Salmon; Mrs. Neva E. Finkle, Southwick; Floyd F. Ware, Clarkston, and Percy N. Ware, Kendrick; her sister, Mrs. Jake Berreman, Clarkston; 13 grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. The body is a Brower-Wann chapel at Lewiston awaiting funeral arrangements.
Lewiston Morning Tribune Effie M. Ware At Rest In Normal Hill Cemetery Services for Effie M. Ware were held yesterday at 2:30 at the Brower-Wann chapel. The Rev. Marvin Smith officiated, assisted by the Rev. Damron Lester of the Full Gospel church, Kendrick. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wilson sang, accompanied by Pauline Brigham, organist. Pallbearers were R. L. Blewett, Oscar Slind?, Claude Jones, Henry Jones, Gabie Forest, and Eddie Galloway, all of Kendrick. Burial was in the Normal Hill cemetery. |
