Lewiston Morning Tribune Monday, December 1, 1930 Mrs. Isaac Ward Taken At Culdesac Yesterday Mrs. Isaac Ward, 62, pioneer resident of the Culdesac territory, died yesterday at the home of her son, C. L. Ward, Culdesac, following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Vassar chapel. Interment will be in Normal Hill cemetery. As a child, Mrs. Ward crossed the plains with her parents. She was born in St. Clair county, Missouri, Aug. 17, 1868. She was married in 1883 to Alonzo Carsner. Three children were born to this union, Mrs. E. King, Yakima; Mrs. Walter Taylor, Whitebird, and Walter Carsner, deceased. Mrs. Ward married Isaac Ward in 1892. Five children were born: Mrs. Conda Ward, Culdesac; Mrs. Naomi Krigbaum, Soap Lake, Wash.; P. Ward, Whitebird; Mrs. Ruth Rolph, Tacoma, and Isaac Ward, Culdesac. A sister, Mrs. W. Stephens, Tonasket, Wash.; a brother, John Olney, Culdesac; two half-sisters, Mrs. Gertie Sprague, Lewiston Orchards, and Mrs. Hattie Sills, Cheney, and 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.
