Lewiston Morning Tribune Monday, December 3, 1951 Elmer Wandling, 65, Dead From Illness Elmer Wandling, 65, of Ephrata, Wash., died at 6:35 a.m., yesterday at St. Joseph's hospital after illness of a week. He had been at Lewiston the last month, visiting Mrs. A. L. Jenkins, of Tammany, a half-sister, when he became ill and was hospitalized. Mr. Wandling was born Dec. 3, 1885, at Bertrand, Neb. He is survived by a brother, James Wandling of Ridgefield, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. Grace Cavanaugh, Seattle; and four half sisters, Mrs. Jenkins; Mrs. Hazel Maughan, Walla Walla; Mrs. Helen Best, Brewster, Wash., and Mrs. Bessie Priest, Yakima. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 with the Rev. Keith Dean officiating at Vassar-Rawls chapel. Burial will be at Normal Hill cemetery. |
