Lewiston Teller Lewiston, Idaho, April 10, 1884 Died. Von Arx - In this city, at the residence of L. B. Boice, April 3, 1884, Joseph Von Arx, a native of Switzerland, aged 69 years, 3 months and 8 days.
Lewiston Teller Joseph Von Arx died very suddenly in this city April 3rd, at the residence of L. B. Boise. He was one of the oldest residents of this city, having come here in 1861. He was a Swiss by birth, was a very kind man and respected by all who knew him. He was sixty-nine years old and served in the Mexicn war. He lived for a time in Polk county, Oregon. He had by his industry accumulated several thousand dollars in money and property. He had made a will giving the bulk of his property to the children of James Hayes, deceased, and Richard Monroe, Jr. |
