Death Of Mrs. Tripp.

Aged Lady Succumbed to Attack of Typhoid Fever.

Miss Barbara M. Tripp passed away at 8 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Commodore Nelson, on Normal hill, death resulting from an attack of typhoid fever of eight days' duration. The funeral will be help at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon from the residence of Mrs. Nelson, the services to be conducted by Rev. Euster of the Methodist church.

The deceased was born December 13, 1834, in Phayette county, Pennsylvania, and moved to Adams country, Illinois, in 1851, where she was united in marriage to Mr. Tripp, who died in 1893. In 1899 Mrs. Tripp moved to Idaho and has since been residing with her daughters, Mrs. Nelson and Mrs. Clara Tindall, of this city. A son, Frank Tripp, is a resident of Kootenai county and he came to Lewiston to be at the bedside of his mother during her last illness. Mrs. Tripp was a member of the Methodist church and the Women's Relief corps and a christian lady whose pure life brought to her the esteem of many friends, a large number of whom she first met since her residence in Idaho.
