Lewiston Morning Tribune Fri., May 21, 1948 Frank C. Tigges, 77, Area Pioneer, Passes Frank C. Tigges, 77, 317 24th St., north Lewiston, was taken by death at St. Joseph's hospital yesterday at 5:45 p.m. He was born at Marathon, Wis., Nov. 23, 1870, and moved to Ford, Wash., in 1906. After residing at Ford, in 1918 he moved to Worley where he worked as a logger and farmer until moving to Lewiston in 1927. He operated a service station at north Lewiston and sold lumber products. He was a communicant of the Catholic church. Survivors include his wife, Rose Ann; a son, L. V. Tigges, Clarkston; three daughters, Mrs. Juanita Baldwin, Ford; Mrs. Florence Kirk, Spokane; Bernice Tigges, Seattle; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Rosary services will be conducted at Vassar-Rawls chapel this evening at 8. Funeral services will be held from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church tomorrow at 9 a.m. Burial will be at Normal Hill cemetery. |
