Lewiston Morning Tribune Tuesday, December 17, 1907 Death of Thomas Tierney. Thomas Tierney, an old pioneer of this section and said to be over one hundred years old, died Saturday night at the home of William Caldwell five miles below here on Lapwai creek. Mr. Tierney has made his home with Mr. Caldwell for the past forty-five years and has no relatives so far as known. Mr. Caldwell came here in 1862 and the deceased has made his home with him ever since. The funeral was held Sunday, interment being made in the cemetery at the mouth of Mission creek. |
