Lewiston Morning Tribune Wednesday, February 28, 1940 Mrs. W. H. Taylor Dead Of Pneumonia Mrs. Evelyn Taylor, 74, wife of W. H. Taylor, Lewiston Orchards, died at St. Joseph's hospital at 11:30 a.m. yesterday of pneumonia. She was taken to the institution in critical condition Saturday. Mrs. Taylor was born at Logan, Utah, Oct. 10, 1865, and since 1884 had been a resident of Idaho, living in the southern part of the state until locating in the Orchards in 1927. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Lewiston valley grange, the community club and the Congregational church. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor celebrated their golden wedding anniversary three years ago. Survivors include her husband, W. H. Taylor; her son, Frank Taylor, Lewiston Orchards, and her daughter, Miss Ethel Taylor, teaching at Kellogg, who was here when her mother died; also two brothers and two sisters, Benjamin Reed, Boise; E. J. Reed, Pacific Grove, Calif.; Mrs. Lina Ponting, Soda Springs, and Mrs. Annette Snyder, Seattle. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 from the Brower-Wann funeral home. Burial will be in Normal Hill cemetery. |
