Mrs. Alex Stephens [Stevens] died Monday evening at her home seven miles east of town after a short illness and was buried yesterday morning at the Upper Tammany cemetery. Mrs. Stephens was only 33 years of age and leaves a husband and eight little children to mourn her untimely death.
