The Lewiston Teller Friday, January 3, 1879 Died. On Dec. 31, 1878, of consolidation of the lungs, Mary Stevens, daughter of J. P. and C. L. Stevens, aged 10 years, 6 months and 11 days. It is with pain that we chronicle the death of this "little star". Although of a few years of age, she had by her many good qualities secured to herself and parents a host of friends, both upon the state and in the various circles of private life through which she has been called to pass and long will she live in the memory of her numerous friends in this place and vicinity of Baker City Oregon, where she gained a wide spread fame for her fine feeling of humility, kindness and sincerity, supported by an extraordinary share of intelligence, and now we mourn the loss of
