Lewiston Teller We announced last week the death of the eldest child of L. Stannus and wife at Independence, Ogn., where Mrs. Stannus and her two children have been stopping some weeks. On Saturday eve, a telegram was received that his youngest child was very sick and not expected to live and for him to go as soon as possible to Independence. Mr. S. started Sunday. We deeply regret this misfortune of Mr. and Mrs. Stannus. They have been in our vicinity for several years and have borne a good character, as industrious, enterprising and honest people, deserving of the confidence of all who knew them. |
