Lewiston Morning Tribune Monday, January 5, 1931 Mrs. J. B. Springer [Sprenger] Dies At Home In Ashland, Ore. Mrs. J. B. Springer, pioneer of Lewiston, passed away yesterday at her home in Ashland, Ore., according to word received here by Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Brown. She was 89 years old. She came here from Oregon to live with her daughters, Mrs. Alice Vincent and the late Mrs. C. C. Bunnell, and about three years ago moved to Ashland with Mrs. Vincent and Miss Katherine Vincent. Besides Mrs. Vincent, two other daughters survive, Mrs. W. W. Brown and Mrs. George Lake, both of Grangeville. Funeral services will be held at Grangeville Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, the Vassar establishment being in charge. The body will rest in the family in Prairie View cemetery.
