Lewiston Morning Tribune Saturday, February 26, 1927 Death of N. J. Spahn Lewiston Man is Victim of Pneumonia - Funeral Sunday. At 10 o'clock yesterday morning, at the family home, 1826 Boulevard, Nicholas J. Spahn, 55, passed away from a brief attack of pneumonia, having its inception one week ago. Mr. Spahn was a highly respected resident of this city for 15 years, being engaged in farm and orchard work at different times. He was a native of Russia. He is survived by a wife, Mrs. Bessie Spahn, one daughter, Mrs. Charles Jewell, and four sons, Henry Lancelot, William, Raymond and Montez, all of this city; also three sisters and one brother, these being Mrs. Christina Sittner, of Colfax; Mrs. Deines, Harvard, Neb., Mrs. Green, residing in Canada, and Conrad Spahn, of Nampa, Neb. The body is at the Vassar parlors, and the funeral will be held from that chapel Sunday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock, Rev. E. A. Wolfe delivering the funeral message at the chapel, and the Moose lodge, of which the deceased was a member, giving the committal service in Normal Hill cemetery. |
