Lewiston Morning Tribune Tuesday, June 13, 1950 William E. Smith, 74, Succumbs At Orofino Orofino, June 12. - William E. Smith, 74, attendant at the state hospital north here the last eight years, died at 1:30 a.m. today at the hospital. He had been confined since suffering a stroke several months ago. Graveside committal services will be held Wednesday at Normal Hill cemetery at Lewiston at 11 a.m. (PDT). Officiating will be the Rev. Marvin Smith of Lewiston, with the Blake funeral home in Orofino in charge. Mr. Smith was born Feb. 25, 1876, at Massaic, Ill., and was a member of the Christian church at Joppa, Ill. He is survived by a son, Herman Smith, Orofino; a brothers, E. H. Smith, Paducah, Ky., and two sisters, Mrs. T. F. Perkins, Metropolis, Ill., and Mrs. Bernard Miller, Oakland, Calif. |
