Lewiston Morning Tribune Sunday, July 25, 1926 Mrs. Harry Smith Dead. Passed Away Yesterday in Clarkston Following Long Illness. Mrs. Harry Smith of Eighth street passed away yesterday morning at 7:45 at the family home as the result of cancer, from which she had been suffering for more than a year. She had been seriously ill for the last two months and her death was not unexpected by the family and other relatives. She had lived in Clarkston about 10 years, having moved here from the Nez Perce prairie, where she grew to womanhood. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband; one son, Harold Lyford, of Bend, Ore., two sisters, Mrs. H. J. Coggins of Craigmont and Mrs. Grace Markham of Hunters, Wash., and two brothers, J. E. Mabbott of Craigmont and E. C. Mabbott of Fresno, Cal. A Christian Science funeral service will be read from the Merchant chapel this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The burial will take place in Normal Hill cemetery. |
