James E. Smith Dead.

Came from Cheyenne for Relief From Heart Affection.

James E. Smith died yesterday at noon at 0205 Seventh street from a rupture of the heart. Mr. Smith has been a sufferer of heart trouble for the past seven months and came to Lewiston with his wife from Cheyenne in February with a hope that the change in climate might be beneficial to his health. He was about 39 years of age and was a building contractor. He is survived by his wife, father and mother.

The funeral will be conducted on Tuesday forenoon from the Vassar chapel, the services being under the auspices of the I. O. O. F. lodge of which order the deceased was a member.
