Edward Smith, son of Rev. Smith, pastor of the Presbyterian church at Asotin, died yesterday morning of consumption, his death occurring at Asotin. The deceased, who was a young man of sterling character, attended the Normal school in Lewiston for a period and made a large circle of friends. The funeral will be held at Asotin at 1:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon and the interment will be made in this city. The casket for the burial was secured from Undertaker Neal of this city.
