Lewiston Morning Tribune Sunday, July 24, 1938 L. L. Siegrist, 57, Is Taken By Reaper Louis L. Siegrist, 57, died at St. Joseph's hospital yesterday after a brief illness following a major operation. He was born in Nebraska and moved to Idaho 28 years ago. After living near American Falls for 15 years he moved to Kellogg where he was employed in mines until coming to Lewiston in March, 1937. He was a member of an AFL union. Surviving are the wife, Myrtle Siegrist, two sons, Jack and Leon, at home, two daughters, Arlene, at home, and Mrs. Elna Walker, Clarkston. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary Siegrist, Eldorado, Kan., a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Downing, Council Bluffs, Ia., and five brothers, Charles, Bert and Frank Siegrist, Eldorado, Henry Siegrist, Council Bluffs, and Fred Siegrist, Washington. The body is at the Brower-Wann parlors. |
