Lewiston Morning Tribune Thursday, November 21, 1935 Mrs. Anna M. Shupert Is Called To Reward Mrs. Anna May Shupert, 77, a resident of Lewiston for 27 years, passed away last night at 10:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Thompson, 927 Ninth avenue. She had been in ill health for several months. Born Anna May Culp, Oct. 8, 1858, near Three Rivers, Mich., she was married to Henry L. Shupert at Elkhart, Ind., Dec. 24, 1876. Mr. Shupert, who died in Lewiston in 1924, was for 37 years master mechanic for the Northern Pacific railway and in 1908 the family moved to Lewiston. Mr. Shupert serving as master mechanic for the Camas Prairie railroad. The daughter is the only survivor. The body is resting at Vassar-Shaughnessy-Rawls chapel. Funeral arrangements are pending. |
