John Shoemaker Passes

Long Time Resident of Nez Perce County Dies at Sweetwater.

John Shoemaker, 76, for 30 years a resident of Nez Perce county and 20 years a resident of Sweetwater, died at his home at Sweetwater last night following an illness of two months. Mr. Shoemaker was a retired farmer.

He is survived by his widow and six children: Harry, Mrs. Dollie Rhett and Mrs. Nannie Crawford, all of Sweetwater; Carl, Gifford; Loren and John, Portland.
