Ex-Resident Succumbs - Burlyn Shafer of Coeur d'Alene, who lived here when he was a child, died Wednesday at the lake City. the funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10:30 at Coeur d'Alene and interment will be at 2 p.m. at Normal Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, two sons and mother, Mrs. Myrtle Shafer, all of Coeur d'Alene. His father was the late Parker Shafer. Lewiston relatives include two cousins, Mrs. J. J. Fox and Willard Shafer, and an aunt, Mrs. Porter Shafer. His mother is the former Myrtle Sampson of Lewiston.
