Lewiston Morning Tribune Saturday, July 5, 1930 Melvin Scott, Resident For Thirty Years, Died Melvin Scott, 65, for the last nine years an employee of the state highway department, passed away yesterday at the highway office headquarters where he lived. He had resided in Lewiston approximately 30 years, and prior to his work with the highway department was a member of the street department personnel of the city of Lewiston. With the highway department, Scott assisted in the cruise of the Culdesac hill highway project. He also assisted in laying out the Whitebird hill project. Mr. Scott is survived by two brothers, Megaldus and Fred Scott, and a sister, Mrs. Rose Wynn, of Los Angeles, Mrs. Leslie Thompson is a half sister. Funeral arrangements have not been made and the body is resting at the Brower-Wann establishment. |
