Lewiston Morning Tribune Friday, March 29, 1940 Pioneer Of County Is Taken By Death Clyde W. Scott, 51, a resident of the Gifford-Myrtle region since early boyhood and a well known farmer of that area, died at St. Joseph's hospital at 1 yesterday afternoon. Death was attributed to a disease of the bladder. He was born at Central Point, Ore., Feb. 2, 1889 Survivors include four sisters and four brothers, James R. Scott and Lonnie Scott, both of Weiser; Charles O. Scott, Seattle; John W. Scott, Tammany; Mrs. Maggie Allen, Spokane; Mrs. Nora Long, Kooskia; Mrs. C. H. Summers, Myrtle, and Mrs. H. H. Leeper, Peck. The body is at the Brower-Wann funeral home. Burial arrangements are pending.
