Lewiston Morning Tribune Wednesday, February 5, 1947 Forest Worker Killed When Chain Breaks At Camp 58 Grangeville, Feb. 4 - Robert Ruark, 29, was instantly killed at PFI camp 58, 12 miles east of Grangeville, this morning at 10:30 when a loader chain broke and two logs dropped on him. He was born in Alberta, Canada. Two months ago he transferred from logging work in the Pierce district to Camp 58. No inquest was held. Survivors are his widow, Helen, and two children, Charlotte and Ronald, who reside at Kooskia. The body was brought to Ailor mortuary. Funeral arrangements are pending.
