Lewiston Morning Tribune Tuesday, Nov 27, 1951 Henry J. Rogers, 77, Retired Farmer Dead Henry Johnson Rogers, Lewiston, died at 9:50 last night at the Asotin County Memorial hospital, Clarkston. He was 77. Mr. Rogers was a retired farmer from Melrose area and lived at 117 24th St., north Lewiston. He was born March 12, 1874, at Cottage Grove, Ore. A first wife died in 1920, but he is survived by his second wife, the former Mabel Henderson, whom he married Aug. 3, 1950, at Indiana, Penn. Other survivors are two sons, Cecil Rogers, Lewiston Orchards, and Estil Rogers, Melrose; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Robertson, Klamath Falls, Ore., a brother, Tom Rogers, Moscow, and eight grandchildren. The body is at the Brower-Wann funeral home. Funeral arrangements pend. |
