Lewiston Morning Tribune Tuesday, January 8, 1929 Northwest Pioneer Dead Mrs. Mary Robinett, 90, Lewiston Resident for Many Years. News of the death of Mrs. Mary B. Robinett at Hillsboro, Ore., at 9 o'clock last night was conveyed in a telegram received in this city by Mrs. Sage Akins, a daughter. Mrs. Robinett had reached the age of 90 when the end came. Coming to Lewiston with her family in 1884, Mrs. Robinett spent many years here and her many fine characteristics will be recalled by early day residents. Upon leaving here she went to Hillsboro to make her home with one of her sons. Three years ago Mrs. Robinett came to Lewiston and remained at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Akins, until last May then returning to Hillsboro. The surviving children are Mrs. Sage Akins, this city, Clarence W. Robinett, Salt Lake City, William Robinett, Hillsboro, Ore., and James Robinett, of Oak Grave, Ore. The body will be brought to this city for burial arriving on Wednesday's morning train. Interment will take place in the Normal Hill cemetery the same afternoon. |
