Lewiston Morning Tribune Tuesday, November 10, 1931 Sam G. Robinson Passes Suddenly Nez Perce, Nov. 9 - Sam G. Robinson, prominent businessman and wheat operator here, died this morning at Rock Springs, Wyo., from a heart attack, according to word received here. His son, T. E. Robinson, left by car with Art Heston via Boise. Mr. Robinson came here from the Silcott region 10 years ago and was for many years a grain handler. He constructed and owned the tramway and warehouse and later conducted a pool room here. Besides his widow and son, he is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Emma Benson, whom he was visiting at Rock Springs; and four grandchildren; Waunda and Bud Stonebraker and Dorothy and T. E. Robinson, Jr. A brother, Tom D. Robinson, Clarkston, also survives.
Lewiston Morning Tribune Funeral of S. G. Robinson - Funeral services for the late S. G. Robinson, of Nezperce, who died this week at Rock Springs, Wyo., will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Brower-Wann parlors. The body, accompanied by T. E. Robinson, son, will arrive this morning. The funeral sermon will be given by the Rev. Orval D. Peterson and interment will be in the Normal Hill cemetery. |
