Lewiston Morning Tribune Friday, January 6, 1950 Esther Robinson, 67, Dies At Grangeville Grangeville, Jan. 5 - Esther A. Robinson, 67, a pioneer of eastern Washington and north central Idaho, died at her home here last night. Mrs. Robinson was born Aug. 8, 1882, at Chicago, Ill., and moved west to Farmington, Wash., with her parents when she was 12. She was married to Samuel Robinson at Spokane, Oct. 7, 1898. After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Robinson moved to Pomeroy and in 1922 settled at Nezperce. After Mr. Robinson's death, Mrs. Robinson moved to Grangeville in 1942. She is survived by one son, Thomas E. Robinson, Lewiston, a daughter, Mrs. Emma Atkins, Pomeroy; one sister, Mrs. William Hughes, San Gabriel, Calif.; and three brothers, Lester Robinson, Los Angeles; Charles R. Robinson, Tokaland, Wash., and Foster Brownfield, Spokane. The body is at the Brower-Wann funeral home, with arrangements pending. |
