Lewiston Morning Tribune Tues., July 14, 1953 Culdesac - Albert Lee Robinett, Mission Creek logger, was found dead, apparently of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, at his home about 7:30 a.m. Monday. The body was discovered by two neighbors, Wilson Bundy and F. M. McKenzie, who found him lying on a bed with a .22 caliber automatic rifle between his legs, according to Deputy Sheriff Earl Wormell. A bullet had been fired through his mouth into his brain, Wormell said. Nez Perce County Coroner Kermit Malcom set the time of death at about 12:30 a.m. Monday. He was born at Winchester April 13, 1901, and was employed by Potlatch Forest Inc., as a "cat skinner." He married Evelyn Brown at Lewiston in July, 1924. Leaves Many Survivors Survivors include his wife; four sons, Robert, Richard, Douglas and Darrell Robinett, all of Culdesac; seven daughters, Mrs. Betty Heart of Kellogg; Mrs. Barbara Snyder of Lewiston, and Peggy, Patricia, Della, Joan and Margaret Robinett, all of Culdesac; three brothers, Richard Robinett of Orofino, Earl Robinett of Post Falls, and Floyd Robinett of Los Angeles; three sisters, Mrs. H. A. Glosson of Orofino, Mrs. Ella Deerer of Clestro, Calif., and one other in Phoenix, and three half-sisters, Mrs. Louise Blewett of States, Mrs. Mary Hummon of Seattle and Mrs. Patty Nichols of Kamiah. Services are pending at the Brower-Wann Funeral Home. |
