George W. Richards Passes

Funeral of Former Arrow Resident Thursday at 2 P.M.

George W. Richards died suddenly last night at the home of his son, Guy G. Richards, 512 Fourth avenue, where he had been ill for several days. He had, however, seemed much better yesterday, and it was while he was lying down resting comfortably that the end came unexpectedly.

Mr. Richards was born in England in 1847 and came to America when a boy. For 28 years he was a farmer residing in the Arrow section. He is survived by one son, Guy G. Richards; a brother William Richards, of Seattle, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Bayard of Oakland, Cal., and Mrs. Lillie Carter of Lyle, Minn.

The funeral will be held at the Vassar chapel at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
