Lewiston Morning Tribune Sunday, May 21, 1967 Mrs. May E. Rice, 82, Former Reubens Resident, Succumbs Mrs. May E. Rice, 82, Reubens, died at 6:45 p.m. yesterday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She had been ill since March. Mrs. Rice was the widow of Samuel Rice, whom she married in June, 1917, at Lewiston. He died in 1942. Mrs. Rice was born March 15, 1885, in Washington County, Kans. She lived in Kansas until 1912 and then spent a year at Kooskia. From 1913 to 1958 she lived at Lewiston, moving to Reubens in 1958. Survivors include a daughters, Mrs. Leonard O'Brien and a granddaughter, both of Reubens. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brower-Wann Funeral Home. Burial will be at Normal Hill Cemetery. |
